Winemaker & Viticulturist

With a family history of working the land, Ned Raich, Fussy Grape Winemaker and Viticulturist started a hobby, utilising some vacant land on his parents property. He had ideas that growing wine grapes would be a walk in the park. A self-taught winemaker he did lots of research and sought the help of local winemakers to overcome the myriad of challenges in winemaking such as when to spray, when to water and most importantly when to pick. With the first vines of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 2003 that hobby is now a fully operational winery producing 25,000 bottles of wine each year.
